Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British music producer and singer. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. The son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on January 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles, a former student of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools formed a group called White Eskimo with three fellow students. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing performances. Even though he's always expressed an interest in the world of music, despite his passion for it he wanted also to be a lawyer or physical therapist. In order to support his family, he spent a short time working part-time in a bakery. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and did Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. This was the reason the band split up. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant on The X Factor suggested Harry Styles join a band called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to form the band in 2010. The group sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart in the competition, which helped them become one of the top contenders for winning the competition. The band was in the third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who were the winners. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell still paid $2 million to One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
