Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist as well as a businesswoman. She founded The Huffington Post, is the founder and CEO of Thrive Global as well an writer of 15 novels. She was the daughter of journalist and manager Konstantinos and wife Elli Stasinopoulos. Although she was close with her father it was her bond with her mother, which formed her future. The British native moved to England when she was 16, to pursue her education and was enrolled into Girton College Cambridge. During her college days she was a member of the college debate organization Cambridge Union where she became the third foreign, and first female president. Her graduation was in 1972 and she earned an MA in Economics. After her graduation she worked as a columnist critic, and a television host.
